The next two sessions of the multi-part respiratory protection webinar series have been announced. Registration is free, and on-demand recordings will be made available within one week of the live event.

May 14: A closer look at the 3M respiratory protection products currently being imported into the U.S. from Asia and distributed by FEMA. Hear an overview of the 3M respirator models being imported and how to help ensure proper usage for each. Register for 9 a.m. CDT or 1 p.m. CDT.

3M respirators with international packaging arrive in the U.S.

The first shipment of respirators from 3M plants in Asia began arriving in the United States this week. These respirators are part of the agreement 3M reached with the U.S. government on a plan that, with the Trump Administration’s assistance, will enable FEMA to import 166.5 million respirators into the U.S. over a three-month period.

A resource page is available for facilities that receive products with international packaging. The page includes product information in English, resources on the different types of respirators being made available and provides answers to commonly asked question about these respirators.
